Experienced Existential Psychotherapist in Pimlico & Central London
Welcome
Hello, and welcome. I’m an experienced existential psychotherapist based in central London, offering in-person sessions in Pimlico, as well as online and West London sessions in Chiswick.
My approach is warm, relational, and grounded in over 16 years’ experience across the NHS and private practice. I work with adults facing anxiety, burnout, identity questions, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. I have particular experience supporting neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ clients, and I welcome people from all backgrounds.
If it’s helpful, I offer a free 20-minute Zoom introductory call so we can briefly meet and see whether working together feels like a good fit.
Where I Work
I offer appointments in person and online from the following locations:
– Wednesdays: Pimlico (Central London)
Pimlico Counsellors, 6a Bessborough Place, SW1V 3SG
– Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays: Chiswick (West London)
In-person and online sessions
Both locations are easily accessible by public transport. For directions and maps, please see the Contact page.
I also offer Walk & Talk therapy in central London parks – see the Walk & Talk page for details.
How I Work
I offer a supportive, confidential therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, openness, and thoughtful reflection. Over many years in practice, I’ve worked with a wide range of people and difficulties.
Diagnostic and medical models can be useful, but psychotherapy offers something different: a space to understand yourself and your story more deeply, work with your particular traits and sensitivities, and make meaningful, sustainable change. My approach is collaborative and non-pathologising.
We might explore emotional conflicts, self-critical patterns, repeating relationship dynamics, or important choices you’re facing. The aim isn’t to “fix” you, but to help you feel more resourced, more self-understanding, and more able to act with clarity and self-trust.
Working with the Past, and the Present
Many people come to therapy wanting to understand how their early experiences still shape them. Together, we can make sense of family dynamics and the roles you learned to take on, while keeping our focus on your present life and how you want to live now.
As we begin to understand where we come from, we often find ourselves developing more kindness toward ourselves, and clearer, more boundaried relationships with others.
Mindfulness, Compassion & Neuroscience
I have a strong interest in neuroscience and how modern life affects our nervous systems. Ongoing stress, overload, and self-criticism can leave people anxious, depleted, or burnt out.
Where it’s helpful, I draw on mindfulness and compassion-based practices alongside existential therapy. These can support emotional regulation, steadiness, and a more compassionate relationship with yourself over time.
Neurodivergence & LGBTQ+ Affirmative Therapy
I offer a neuroaffirmative and LGBTQ+ affirming approach. I’m both autistic and gay, and I bring this lived understanding into my work while keeping therapy open and welcoming to anyone who feels we might be a good fit.
This perspective has deepened my appreciation of how little most of us are taught to understand and nurture our own nature – and how important that is for everyone.
I have particular experience supporting late-diagnosed and self-identifying neurodivergent adults, including autism and ADHD, as well as people exploring identity, difference, and belonging.
You can learn more about this on my Autism & Late Diagnosis & Frequently Asked Questions page
Walk & Talk Sessions
Therapy doesn’t have to happen indoors. Walk & Talk sessions offer the option of working side-by-side outdoors in London’s parks, including Hyde Park/Kensington Gardens and Regent’s Park.
Walking can help some people feel more at ease and less under pressure, allowing conversation to unfold at a natural pace.

Fees & Availability
My standard fee is £90 per session. I am registered with AXA, Aviva, and WPA.
I usually offer a regular weekly or fortnightly time. Many clients begin weekly and later move to fortnightly or monthly sessions. Ad-hoc sessions are available for established clients.
My cancellation policy is 48 hours’ notice. When possible, I will try to offer an alternative session within the same week.
